Repairing loved items - Just like on TV
Over the years myself, Adrian, and my fellow Artisans have acquired many skills. It is lovely to put these skills to good use repairing loved items for local people.
Antique Gradfather Clock Repair |
 | So here is work in progress when I repaired an Antique Grandfather clock. It had not been working for several years and Pat wanted it to be ticking for her birthday to remember her late husband. It not only needed a good clean but also a few critical repairs from straightening bent parts to re-bushing crucial pivots. It was installed on schedule and its keeps pretty good time chiming on the hour. A beautiful repair to work on.

G PLan Table refurbish |
 | This was a classic mid century G Plan coffee table. The top was covered in dirt and gooey varnish. Many hours later and scrapping back to the original teak veneer I was able to restore its classic look. It wasn't the easiest table to refinish but one of many I often give special treatment to.

So these are a couple of examples of work done, but other items included jewellery, teddy bears, chairs (lots of those) ceramics and small electrical items. So don't leave your memories at the local refuse tip come and show me and maybe they will live and be loved again. Click here to get in touch
